The Gateway Chapter provides free transportation for our veterans to local VA Medical Centers for treatments and to various other activities. We also transport area veteran members to activities in the community like trapshooting, monthly luncheons at the Jefferson Barracks Spinal Cord Unit, personal errands and our fall picnic. We are currently transporting hospitalized spinal cord patients, who are able to go, to stores and activities near the Jefferson Barracks spinal cord unit. We employ two part-time drivers, who work 4-5 days per week.

In accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Gateway PVA Transportation Program operates without regard to race, color, or national origin. The Gateway PVA Transportation Program also adheres to the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and does not discriminate on the basis of disability in its services, programs, activities, or employment practices.

To learn more about our anti-discrimination policies or if you believe that we have violated them and would like to file a complaint under Title VI or the ADA, please follow this link.

Passengers with disabilities may request modifications to current service procedures to access the service.  To make a request, please call at 314-427-0393 or email info@gatewaypva.org.  Please submit requests at least one day before the trip.
